EXPERIENCE
Nico has developed many athletes around the world. His holistic approach to high performance has produced victories, podiums and personal bests from junior to elite level at world, continental and national championships and major games.
In his early years as a coach, he was a member of the D-squad (professional triathlon team), where he was involved as an assistant.
He then worked with Swiss Triathlon as a military coach, national coach and head coach of the national centre. During this time, he developed athletes to international level and helped coaches understand the demands of triathlon at the highest level. He was also strongly involved in setting up a new national training centre in Sursee.
The next step was the creation of an international triathlon team where we provide an environment that supports the athletes' pursuit of EXCELLENCE, where they can embrace and understand the different aspects of their holistic development in sport, giving them the opportunity to try, fail, learn, build confidence and succeed in a meaningful way.
The last piece of the puzzle is the foundation of RIS3 SPORT, a coaching platform to enable everyone to RECONNECT with themselves, to let themselves be INSPIRED by their dreams and objectives through the practice of SPORT and the pursuit of their own EXCELLENCE.
